Reflections and ToDos for 12/28

Here’s the ToDo list first:
1. Go to Coffman and take care of the boxing situation in the MPAC office.
2. Pay cheque at Dinnaken.
3. Catch up with people at Chipotle, and watch Sherlock Holmes.
4. Send emails to Profs.
5. Keep working on The Wild Duck.
6. Figure out how to tether the G1 to laptop for internet access during road trips.
7. Send computer in at BestBuy.
8. Backup computer in its current state.
9. Look at the stargazing schedule www.astro.umn.edu.

I’m finding it difficult to keep myself motivated with writing projects for quizbowl. I think I can churn out the ~100/100 that I need to write before the 19^th of Jan. Heck, all I really need to do is to write 5/5 per day. Once I get off track, though, I’m screwed. I’m sure I won’t be able to write anything for the few days I’m going to be in Detroit or traveling.

To do list for 12/27

1. Continue working on the summer internship stuff.
2. Write draft of email to contact profs at the U.
3. Finish up Penn Bowl stuff.
4. Write email to other quizbowlers roundabouts about upcoming tournaments at the U.
5. Maybe start reading Wild Duck? (Yeah, some projects just keep getting pushed back.)
6. Examine the eMachines computer and see what parts of it are salvageable. I’m sure there will be more stuff to add to this.

To Do List for 12/26

1. Clear off the remainder of snow and buy a bunch of driveway salt.
2. Pick up mother from Airport.
3. Read the play that I was reading earlier.
4. Make a list of people involved in bioremediation/microbio-related energy fields for summer internship. This is taking much longer than I thought. I’ll have to continue this tmrw.
5. Put down the dates for the various career fairs on calendar.

5.c. UM Job fair: Website. Remember to check back for more info.
6. Clean up rooms. (God, some of this mess is unbearable.)
7. Start on application for CBS Scholarships.
8. Iron clothes if I still have the time. (probably good to watch a movie concurrently.) – I am SICK of loud Indian movies. I’m not watching them anymore unless I go to a theatre.
9. Plan some social activities for quizbowl.
10. Buy more tortillas to consume the pound of black beans in the fridge. – Pushed back to later because mother came back with a bunch of stuff.
