Flower Desktop background

Ok. I’ve made that flowery desktop background. I’ve taken all the photos, but most of the flowers were from Grant’s place, Matt’s place, Taskar’s Place, and parks. Thank y’all for all the efforts you’ve put into the gardens. I used photoshop to crop/resize and balance the colours.

There are two ways you can download:

1. Go to my facebook wall, click on the “View my files” in the files application, Choose the dimensions you want, download, and use!

2. Go to my online folder and download the one you want.

Please please comment. Feel free to share with your friends.

Photosynth

Oh my god. That is what I call awesome-tastic. I wonder how much of a drain it will be on the computer’s resources, but heck I wouldn’t care. I can start taking lots of pictures of flowers and then have 3d views of it. I really liked how it aggregates photos from Flickr and removes all the unnecessary elements. Furthermore, he said that it doesn’t matter what the picture is taken from, it’ll all add up to the final result.

Wow. I’m impressed.

In other news, my flowers desktop II is coming along. I still need a really odd coloured (or orange) flower to finish the project. I will release the desktop under the following sizes: 3200×2400, 2048×1536, 1600×1200, 1280×960, 1280×1024 (I’ll try to make it as proportionate as possible), 1024×768, and for all the ancients, 800×600.

Right now, the image is 1440×840 (My resolution is 1440×900, but the taskbar takes up 30 pixels..) I will make more 4:3 ratio ones also, and they will contain more beautiful flowers. Please comment. If you want a copy, just ask.

Early morning :)

Maybe I should start waking up earlier everyday and just enjoy the fresh air. 4:45 AM seems like the best time. I can hear the birds chirp right now, and it sounds melodious. Also, I should go down by the cornfields somewhere and take more pictures of sunrise and sunset. That would be awesome.
